Abby & Tanner’s day was an absolute BLAST to be a part of! My face hurt from laughing, my mascara was runny from all the tears I cried, and my heart was so happy.
I first met this couple a few years ago when I photographed her brother’s wedding. I remember snapping photos of them on the dance floor back then and hoping that some day they’d call me.
They got married at St Valentine Catholic Church in Bethel Park, which Abby once described to me as her “second home.”
^^ Check out her grandparents holding hands! How adorable are they?? Side note: her grandfather can cut a rug on the dance floor too!
Their friends brought out these cutouts after the ceremony and they were like additional guests at the wedding…we got a lot of mileage out of them, LOL!
After we did some portraits at the church, we headed over to the Doubletree Meadowlands for some more photos before the reception. My second shooter, Caitlin of Solasta Photography and I had such a blast with these two cuties.
My favorite moments are always the spontaneous ones. So when the groomsmen pulled out a pile of champagne bottles and said “Let’s go outside and open these!” it unleashed a TON of fun. Seriously…if you want some fun shots of your bridal party, do this!
